What speaks summer flowers more than daisies? They’re a wildflower imported to the USA and run rampant, but I’d sure hesitate to call them weeds!
These brilliantly colored invitations capture the essence of the bright whites and yellows of the daisy and make a strikingly pretty invitation.
Matching stamps are available in several sizes. My favorite is the square one!
This invitation is also customizable for other parties – such as a garden party! Here’s the reverse side of the Garden Party version:
A simple floral postage stamp is available, too!
Oh, the beautiful wind flowers!
Anemones are also called wind flowers – isn’t that pretty? So many flowers have goofy names!
The little Rue Anemones are blooming in the woods near me (I’m just above the 42nd parallel), but my favorite are these Meadow Anemones. They grow on my property up north, a beautiful pure white against their own bright green leaves, blowing about above the poison ivy. With all that poison ivy, I may not ever get a macro shot of these flowers!
I have no idea how to get that poison ivy oil off my hiking boots and away from my camera stuff. Clothes, yeah, I just throw them in the wash. I’d like to know the reason behind poison ivy, I really would!
Here’s the postage stamp to match the cards!
Someone just bought one of my favorite postage stamps – thank you and enjoy!
These delicate wild anemones are amazing flowers. They are blooming here in northern Michigan on some property I own in the woods. There’s an opening between the trees put in by the power company. Before it all fills up with poison ivy in the summer, the anemones come out of nowhere and shoot up these fragile blooms.
They somehow are hardy enough to last through a rainstorm, though! I love them!
