It’s fun to watch mallards! These ducks flip themselves upside down, showing their white undersides in the air and paddling madly with their bright orange feet to balance as they grab for greens on the bottom of a pond. They so often do it tandem, too. It’s sort of like tea parties we used to hold underwater when I was a kid. Everyone went underwater with their eyes open and drank pretend cups of underwater tea at the same time!
So I made some cards with a little bit of nature humor. Hope you enjoy them. Maybe even enough to buy a couple and send them to your friends!
And a sticker, too!
There was a matching stamp, but the wording wasn’t appropriate for U.S. postage, so now there’s a (hopefully) acceptable version in place. I do hope it wasn’t the duck butts that made this stamp inappropriate!
